Macbook rumors – Event oct.14
I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard of it by now, but let me give you my thoughts on it. Well I’ve been very excited searching the web for info on the rumors and found them to be quite interesting. They are stating that there might be an event oct. 14 for macbooks refresh. It is going to be a big change and yeah they are overdue for an update. They will be mostly like the macbook air, as the material will most likely be aluminum and they will be thinner. There will also be a hardware upgrade. I really like the idea of aluminum and the glass trackpad sounds pretty cool. I would love it if they put a better video card than integrated graphics. The best thing is that there will be aggressive pricing so we are looking at the starting macbook to range at $999 usd for the lowest end macbook. I am looking forward to purchasing one as I’ve been waiting to see if there will be an update soon, and I’m glad I waited.

Thinner Than current macbooks
One piece aluminum design
Glass trackpad with multi-touch and gestures
Rounded curved edges
New hardware such as processor upgrade, graphics update.
Aggressive pricing, start maybe $999

Apple release of 2.1 for iPhone
As apple promised it would, they have released iPhone firmware 2.1 with a lot of bug fixes and better reception. I have just gotten done installing it on my iPhone and truthfully it is amazing how much faster it is than the other updates. All the applications work like liquid smooth now and I get way better reception. For those of you who haven’t yet updated I recommend you go into iTunes and check for updates. If you have a jailbroken or unlocked iPhone, it will stay unlocked as long as you just upgrade, but it will not be jailbroken. Click on the update below for more details:
